Building a warm and supportive community

Yad Labanim brings bereaved families together to connect with others who share their experiences through summer camps, bonding activities for youth, and shared family celebrations like B’nei Mitzvah events

bar mitzva

Adults, teens, and children who have lost a loved one often feel cut off from friends and acquaintances because of their loss. Yad Labanim provides them with a supportive and like-minded community that shares their feelings and their pain, so that they can express themselves freely.

Yad Labanim arranges social and fun activities, residential retreats, and vacations for adults and children to meet and connect with each other. Summer camps for bereaved children allow them to bond with others who have been through similar tragedies. Yad Labanim families also come together to help each other celebrate bar and bat mitzvahs, and other family milestones.
